Just out of curiosity and nothing more, what would happen (good or bad) if you sprayed carb cleaner into the cylinders from spark plug holes?

If it was just a quick short spray...nothing.

And it wouldn't clean cylinder would it, although I would use seafoam
Top, if you are looking for a product to ( To a point clean) the boars of your car, Amtek products are A1 ([email protected]) they have dept throughout the UK, prices are as good as you want the product to be, check there sites & look up the product deta, I have the same as your car but 328i, I always use their products when needed. Regards your Q. No Probs.

If you do the seafoam through the brake booster pipe, and leave it for a few it cleans the combustion chamber
