Yes, £60 fine,.........just googled
Snow on car roof
I think I read somewhere that you can get done because the snow might slip and effect your vision through your windscreen.

Correct Baza.
They don't really do much though. You see loads of them driving about. I cleaned the snow off the roof of my car today 0:-)
I wonder , did the driver of the Audi pictured a couple of days ago get done.
I reckon they will do. They got a clear pic of his reg number.
Cute emoticon Ummmm!
Shouldn't this be in Quizzes & Puzzles, seeing as though you were quizzing?
Mick, you know it will end in crosswords!
Thhttp://www.highwaycode.info/rule/229ere is no specific offence but you might possibly come under the 'dangerous condition' offence if the amount of snow was sufficient to cause/ be likely to cause danger to yourself or other road users.

How many drivers do you still see, using their mobiles whilst driving? what should the penalty be? Is the 3 points a deterrent or is it a waste of time?
Mick - think of it more as a public safety announcement. I recall from an earlier TWY post on driving in the snow that one ABer believed it best to drive in low gear.
TWR ^ apologies
TWR - it doesn't stop them round here. I see at least one driver a day on a mobile phone. No word of exaggeration.
