Thinking of buying a Sabb 900 coupe (2.0 petrol) probably around an R reg. What does anyone think of this car or does anyone have one ? Any information would be great. Thanks.

The 900 was distinctive and well built, lots of standard safety features, and a nice  solid, clever interior. Hardly a rocket, in non turbo guise, the 2.0lt had a 0-60 time of 10.5, and a top speed of around 120mph. The biggest problem was that they had a Cavalier chassis, which meant a leaden, heavy footed driving experience. The subsequent 9-3 was much better.

A friend of mine has a 2.3 900 convertible and it's very safe and solid car.
