Private Number Plates

Without getting into a debate about the naffness of private number plates, would you get one if your initials could be read as a rude-ish word?

For instance if they were FRT, CRP, SHT, ARS?

(I'll sit back and wait for the countless replies saying that they wouldn't have one at all...)

Absolutely, I wish we could make them up. Just think, if there's a hit and run, it's far easier for witnesses to remember BIGASS rather than B16A55.

Ok, I confess, we've got two of them. OH has a pre '63 plate (3 letters, 3 numbers, with no year indicator) but the letters do not relate to anyones initials,it's just a well balanced format. I've got a 1 letter, 1 number, 3 letters type plate, the 3 letters are my initials.

Personally I have no problem with them. Was even thinking about getting one myself. Just that my initials can be a bit rude-ish...

My dad always had one, the 3 letter 3 number combo that Baldric's OH has. The three letters were his initials and palendromic (sp) as were the letters. Mum has it now, looks nice and balanced on the car and she can always find it in the car park.
