I want to switch off the front airbag in my 2002 Freelander so my baby son can ride in the front in his rear facing seat,  but it doesn't have this option.

Could I simply remove the fuse?

Could an auto electrician wire in a switch?

Stick them in the back and don't worry about airbags.
