Downsizing

Sold my Citroen C3 to our grandson yesterday and feel quite relieved!
Too old now and concerned that my reflexes might not be up to scratch in atricky situation..
Annual mileage down to about 200! - cost per mile mega!
Our son's wife has a mobility scooter which she no longer needs and so I 'road tested' it last evening - in our little cul-de-sac - and was impressed.
This morning thought i might venture round to the village supermarket. All wrapped up in coat, cap, gloves - the lot - I went to open garage door to get the scooter out and decided it was far too cold to risk the trip - at 90 I seem to feel this weather badly.
Roll on sumer.

Goodnight Jack. Fancy, getting all wrapped up and then deciding its too cold! Warmer weather HAS to be on the way soon.....hasn't it? I'm only 50 and I'm sick of walking the dog in a hat and big coat. Me, not the dog. Ha ha.

I don't blame you for not going out today jacklee. But well done for making the swap from car to scooter. Come the good weather, you'll be whizzing around the village like an old hand.

Just a Tip Jack, make sure the Scooter is charged fully before any of your trips out, be very careful on the Kerbs, Down / Up, make sure you have your Wet clothes tucked in your box just in case, I respect you old lad. Take care.

I see plenty of oaps out in freezing weather dressed casually and yet i'm layered up and trembling like a newborn chick hibernating .
And i'm in my 40s.....
