Cbt - Biking

CBT passed at 16 and been riding a moped since. She is now 17 and says she can now go straight onto a geared 125cc bike.
I am not convinced! If she hasn't received any training on a manual, geared bike, how can she be allowed to jump straight on it?
I have looked on line, and nothing is clear - can anyone shed any light for me?

Only if she passes the motor cycle driving test before her CBT runs out. Which seems a bit silly to me as you have said she won't have any experience of a geared bike.
At 17 she can ride a 125cc machine with power not exceeding 11Kw. Bikes with gears and a clutch are accepted.
She has taken her CBT which is valid for 2 years. If she doesn't pass her test on a bike with 120-125 cc within the two years she must pass her CBT again.
