when i press ac button revs no longer go higher and it doesnt get cold but blue light comes on.

Think the gas needs filling up. Sorry, not cheap - unless you know someone who's a refrigerator repair man/woman!

or, worse still i'm afraid.. the compressor or the rad may have a leak. Oh dear !! $$$$$
