Common Renault fault. Depending on the model, look from inside the car for a small black catch at the top of the lock, and push it up with a screwdriver or similar. This should unlock it.

Thank you. All I have to do now if figure out how to get in the boot from the back seats lol

A job for my oh I think :)
Is there a switch near the cigarette lighter to lock/unlock the car? If so try that.
If not, heathfields method should work.

I tried the central locking and nothing :(

I also took the back seqats down and tried from inside but couldn't find a switch or anything and didn't want to go pocking too much with the screw driver in case i broke somwthng.

It is due an MOT soon, do you think they could fix it then?
cassaa, You may need to book it in for them to do it before or after the MOT, they wont do it during or part of the MOT, but yes I imagine they will do it for you, meanwhile why not just poke your head in the door of a friendly garage workshop and ask them to pop your boot for you.
These people will tell you how to fix it...............

Will need to sort it before MOT as they will want to check condition of spare.
No. Checking the spare is not part of the MOT - unless the 'Spare' is actually in use on the vehicle.
The spare, if carried, does not have to be legal.
You can carry a cartwheel if you wish.

Heathfield is correct, it is not part of the MOT test.
Just as well you don't have the spare checked for the MOT; Skodas come without one, unless you order it as an extra!
Fred, do Skoda's last long enough to need an MOT.
I don't know. Does this help? It was googled.

Open the front left-hand door with the key.
Once inside, use the lock button on the dashboard centre console to unlock the rest of the car.
Then open the boot as normal, using the button on the tailgate.
Not pertinent to the post but I had a top of the Range Rover, where I couldn't close the boot let alone lock it. Must add not a Range Rover but a Rover car.
