I've not a clue but, if David Nigel Smith happens to be married to Rachel Ruth Smith, I could see that they might like to have that number plate on their car.

Don't know what it's all about as a number plate, but it shows up as uninsured
I've only ever seen one number plate that I really coveted. It was 'S1 LLY' ;-)
I've seen 1 NUT, which, judging from the way the bloke was driving , seemed singularly appropriate.

What's that one all about? It's about someone being desperate to distinguish themselves by a plate without having the money to do it properly.
i'm reading it as

do not resuscitate

maybe it was DN5 4 RRS
My favourite was a Range Rover in Bridlington, a few years ago.
GRA55. I was never sure whether it was a gardener or the local drug dealer.
It pays to advertise.
what about 'PEN 1S' ???

back in 2006, i was on holiday near loch ness

we went to the loch one day, to spend a few hours, and there was a bus which did tours (i think) around the loch

number plate NE55 BUS
Best one i've seen was 789 TEN
I saw a car the other day, and the last three letters were MLF.

I couldn't see the driver.
If my memory serves me correctly, Jack Brabham, racing driver, used to run a garage in Surrey. He had a Vauxhall 'Brabham' Viva with the plate ABC123. The car was a Vauxhall pocket rocket type.
My favourite, spotted in Settle N Yorks on a white Merc, was "FEK 1T".

Jimmy White, who lives not far from me, has CUE 130Y.

Very nice, but quite frankly "personalised" number plates are amongst the most naff additions to vehicles imaginable. This is particularly so for those like the one mentioned in the question. It MAY mean something to the owner, who knows? But for the rst of us it is a nonsense.

All vehicles need to have number plates and thee should be of the type approved with the correct font and spacing, no spurious "bolts" to alter letters and nothing to make them easily readable. Penalties for transgressions perpetrated by vain individuals should attract hefty fines and a minimum of six penalty points.
