Which Is The Best Private Escorted Tour Of New York City

My mother and her friend are planning to go to New York for 7 days next May/June and were looking to book a Private Escorted Tour of New York City for just her and her friend in a car as they are both over 70 they don't feel they can manage the escorted city tours on buses, I understand these tours are done from anything from 4-8 hours Also looking for the same type of thing going from New York and covering Canada/Niagara Falls for a couple of days, can anyone advise me on the best company or companies to use.

I can't answer your question, but I can recommend the Brits Guide to New York which is a fantastic guide book. It answers a lot of questions us Brits have (such as where to find public toilets!) and is published every year so that is always up to date. You will be able to buy it online, and maybe in your local book shop. There is also a website http://www.britguidenewyork.net/
I'm sure that they have some suggestions for tours.
