does anyone know of a good website that would help me learn about motorbikes?i'm thinking of buying one instead of a car but dont want to appear to be the "dumb-blonde" when i talk to a dealer!Thanks.

Aren't you worried about safety?  A friend of a friend of mine has just had a bad m/bike smash at 21 years old, and sadly, did not survive.

all i'd say is go for a small engined bike first. I'm a bike nut myself and i love sports bikes but u cant jst jump on something so powerfull. would recomend a honda cbr 125cc or a second hand nsr 125cc. looks kinda similar to its bigger siblings. then work ur way up to 250cc or 400cc before getting anything over 600cc cos u'd be askin for trouble jumpin straight onto a big bike.
