6. I bought my first one (a red Ford Escort) from my sister and she tried to charge me an extra £50 because it had a new tyre. My Dad told her off and she relented. My last one was a Ford Puma 1700 which I bought from new and it lasted me 14 years. Best car I ever had.

My first car was a beetle in 1978 --fab car.
Last car i bought for myself was a Fiesta but sold 6 yrs ago as we share the same car now --much cheaper as i dont drive so much now.

A lot but I bought new 5 years ago best thing I ever did. No more second hand cars for me. I have wasted thousands on getting S/H cars put right. Never again.

Hundreds! Hubby used to buy and sell them as a hobby, and because we couldn't afford to keep one just for ferrying us about, we had to insure them all one at a time as we went along. Wouldn't be allowed these days, I'm sure lol

6 for me. My first was a fiat uno. Loved it! Froze on the inside in the winter and heater didn't work. Bounced round corners and shot up hills, though.
