She was taken ill and taken to her nearest hotpital and then taken on to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where the staff told the M E N that she was 'critical'
Poor brave Kirsty - I saw her at the head of Knutsford May day 2005 and we all hope she will improve.
Hi,thanks for reply, ive just been on www.manchesteronline.co.uk ,have a look at this-sounds good-hope its true and shes over this setback
I know that giving a message of support on a forum like this may be seen by some as a bit pointless, but if you don't mind I'd like to do just that. I really hope that her condition improves and that she survives this latest setback. She's an absolute trooper and a citizen of whom Manchester should be truly proud. She can teach us all a thing or two in my opinion (myself included!!)
Thanks for alerting me to the news, by the way! :-)
It's true georgit79 - Francis House Hospice has its best ambassador in her. She inspired us to try and raise money for them while we were UG students in Manchester. We managed a few hundred in our Halls, but nothing to what she can do! She's truly amazing!
Key103 (local Manc radio) said this morning that she's improving. Hopefully she'll continue to do so!
