Electronic Key Stopped Opening Boot
My Nissan Micra (04) key won't open the boot any more. I can hear the doors unclick but there's a deafening silence from the boot. Unfortunately the key only works in the ignition and there are no key holes for the doors or boot.
Should I take it to the garage or should I get a new key cut? Or???
All solutions would be appreciated.

I have no experience of Nissans but I assume it is a button on the fob you press ? I'd suspect ff is correct and something has moved inside the boot and jammed the mechanism. In any case my first thought is to go to the dealers and ask for help. They may know how to go through the back seat to move stuff, or even a better way to solve it.

Thank you all for your answers! I have managed to open the boot from inside by lifting the parcel shelf out, f-f, and yes there is a wee white plastic button that can be moved to one side which opens the boot, Z-M, but nowhere can I find keyholes on doors or boot externally, O-J, or any helpful gadgets inside, other than levers to open the petrol cover and bonnet. My car looks more like a VW Beetle as it is newer than the one in the link, Baldric. So I think O-G I will have to ring the garage on Monday. It will probably cost half the car's value to fix it so i am pleased that I have had all your suggestions to try to fix it myself first! Thank you, all!
