i couldn't turn off the engine of my L reg 218 turbo diesel rover, how do i fix it?

Did you manage to resolve this? My J-reg 218 turbo diesel has just exhibited the same problem arriving home this evening. I suspect the ignition switch or a relay perhaps but I don't have a wiring diagram.

Any thoughts or advice would be much apppreciated!
