I filled in the form etc, and it says enclose driving license. Do I send both of them, the photo one, and the paper one?

Hi trt, Yes send both the paper and the photo licence:

If you are worried about them getting lost in the post you could send them signed for :-)

Thanks Peasp!
I would take a photocopy of both and keep safe - there have been reported cases whereby DVLA has changed the drivers’ eligibility to drive different classes of vehicle. Without the previous document, they cannot prove their entitlement and have had to re-take the relevant test(s).

My advice is to assume all persons working for the government are incompetent – and you won’t go far wrong.
