Renault Trafic 1993.wiper Fault.

My Renault traffic (1993) has recently developed an intermittent wiper fault. In the stop position they don't stop. in the intermittent position they also don't stop. in the normal positions they work ok. fast and slow. Sometimes they work ok for a short time. Any suggestions ? Can anyone say where I can obtain a wiring drg?

I'm no expert, but I suspect you need a new wiper motor.

That's what was needed when my old Astra's wipers wouldn't park.

Best guess is the little switch in the wiper motor is failing. If you know a good old fashioned mechanic, he will most likely be able to revive it for a while, or just get a new motor unit fitted.
