if i tax my car this week will lose out as its nearly the end of the month

If you already have tax new disc will start September 1st, if not it will start August 1st

If you want to use your car in August it must be taxed for August. Tax it from the 1st September and use it in August and you will be driving an untaxed vehicle.

When does your disc expire? If you renew it on-line on 1 September (if it runs out on 1 September) you will be OK.
