Mini Central Locking Problem

hi, I have just bought a mini one that will remotely unlock the drivers door but not the passengers door, it has to be opened manually from inside. Does anyone know if there is a simple fix to get the central locking working, it can lock remotely?

You need to click the unlock button twice to unlock all the doors (and the boot and the petrol flap). Damned annoying.
