Then you can decide your course of action once you have seen the strength of the evidence. If you had received an NIP, you could either write to request this evidence prior to completing the NIP or complete the NIP with details of an overseas driver - see other posts on Speeding - and wait to see if they intend to proceed - at which point you can request the evidence and change your plea, if appropriate. On the NIP, you only have to provide information you believe to be correct at the time... it's not against the law to make a mistake, if you believed someone else had been driving.
