What insurance companies offer 12 Month Green Card?

What insurance companies allow a British ex-pat to drive around unlimited within the EU without a limited 90 day green card (annual)?

So far I found two or three companies offering European Insurance AA/AXA in Newcasatle, Stuart Collins in Swansea, ANdrew Copeland in London, but all very very expensive - anybody have any experiences where this is cheaper?

I'd be wary of AXA, I got a motorcycle quote from them and one of their terms was that if the bike was left at the home address but outside the garage between half 10 pm and 6/7 am and a claim was made, they wanted another �350 in excess which took the total excess up to �700.
