basically we lent a courtesy vehicle to a serving police oficer, during the time they had the vehicle they managed to get a speeding ticket on a mobile camera(early morning)
Obviously the ticket came to us as the registered owner of the vehicle, when we passed it on and rang the officer in question they didnt seem surprised or bothered in the slightest, can they just wipe them off the system or am i being paranoid ?

They can dodge the points if they can prove they were on an emergency call ... which of course they would never, ever say if they weren't ... would they?

we followed the normal procedure, just odd the officer didnt seem bothered or phased by it...
maybe when he got off the phone to you, he became a lot less professional....

no one was suggesting anyone was bent just thought it might be a perk of the job !!
this vehicle also had 2 bald tyres and a couple of bulbs out..not bad for traffic plod..
