Free Games/trials?

Are there any free PC games or trials available that will really show the ability of a new gaming laptop at its best? The laptop is an MSI GT702PE Dominator Pro with 32GB of RAM, a GTX880M Graphics Card and an I7 chip.

I was thinking of first person shooter games but I'm willing to give anything a go. I'm a bit reluctant to lash out on a full game until I can judge the performance of the laptop.

I think you are better of asking on a dedicated games forum, there must be some around.

Answerbank usually covers more "general" questions, though there may be a few games experts around.

Only 32Gb of memory, are you sure that is enough :-)

VHG, can't complain so far about the memory. It's seems to walk through anything I can throw at it :-)

EA Origin also has some games that are free or free to try https://www.origin.com/en-gb/store/free-games/game-time - in that page, for example, you can play Titanfall for 48 hours, and some other games are available if you go to the Free Games drop-down menu (at the top). Note that it does install the Origin hub on your PC.

There's a few benchmarks here. It runs Bioshock Infinite and Battlefield 4 quite well.
