Vauxhall Vectra Cruise Control
The car is 9 years old, but has been maintained and never missed a service.
About three weeks ago the cruise control started cutting out intermittently and when I got it checked I was told that it needed a replacement "EVG???"
valve which I authorised.
All was well until Saturday when it has started cutting out again.
Sometimes it won't even engage and other times it'll work for quite a few miles and other times it cuts out after 100 yards.
Any ideas before I put it into the garage again?
Thanks in anticipation.

I always thought it odd that the function was through that route but also pressing the brake pedal stops the cruise control.
I think I would start looking with that bit of the wiring - loose connector etc.
