Can you park a sorned vehicle off road anywhere? Suppose I park a car at a mates house and SORN it. It doesn't have to be at the address it's registered does it?

SORN says it's off the roaD. So long as it's off the public roads it must be OK.
No it just has to be 'off the road' but remember a lot of places that you may think are 'off the road' are actually part of the highway and so not 'off the road'
For example there is a residents only parking area at the back of my house, I thought that was 'off the road' but I was advised it was still part of the highway .

ok thanks, that was what I thought but I'm grateful for clarification, I've never actually sorned a car myself, false economy, it's for a mate of mine.
