If I purchased a personalised number plate CO11 HEY could I use it to replace a 08 plate?

As I understand it you can't use a 'plate that is 'newer' than the vehicle.

No, you can only use a number plate older than the car.

There's a couple of cars parked at a house somewhere along Chelsea embankment, one's a 4x4, the other a sports car, one with the plate 2B, the other with NOT 2B. We've wondered if they're actors...
