Try JIZER .
Can be bought from most good accessory shops. Brush on when cold, leave soaking then wash with warm water. May pong for a short time as it warms up but it will soon go.
Gunk will do the same but the smell is stronger and lasts longer.
Sorry misread your question. If its on the inside apart from taking it apart or fitting a new exhaust system you will have to live with it. Should go soon but be careful, if its too bad you could get nicked.
you could try to drill a small hole at the lowest part of the baffle chamber to let the oil out then plug it with a self tapping screw. Mind you white smoke generally means water! oil usually dark/brown, and petrol blue!could your cyl head gasket be damaged letting coolant into cyls? look under your oil filler cap to see if there is froth or creamy deposits in the oil, that would mean water in the oil. sorry if you already know, I don't mean to go on!

Hi tahnks for the replys i have replaced the head with a new one and a new gasket, and it is definately oil burning of on inside of exhaust. trouble is it will go in time but i dont have an mot at min so cant take it for a good drive, i suppose a new exhaust is the only answer,, more expense

If the car is fitted with a cat you may have mullered this if it has been contaminated with oil.
