before he retired my oh worked for the police and said on a full moon shift they were always busier .

"Experts" pontificate that a full moon has no affect upon people; however, people who deal with people know damn well that it does. Ask any bar-tender, cab driver, cop, or ER work amongst others.

Years ago I worked as a lab tech, and on the midnight shifts we were based in Emerg. We all hated that shift when it was a full moon: the place was nuts.

No, Tony, but there were lots of were(d) people. It was treble nuts when the full moon fell on the weekend and coincided with welfare day. (Benefit payments to you guys)

The majority of the situations involved alcohol and/or drugs, but a lot didn't. Most nights in Emerg were like that, but come a full moon: "Man the ramparts...Here they come".
