Car Wheel Size Query

I have a set of winter wheels fitted with 195/50/15 tyres, which I recently bought for my 2006 Ford Fiesta, now deceased. I would like to be able to use the same wheels on the next secondhand car I buy, which is likely to be approx 2006-2009 vintage. Is this tyre size common to most small cars and will the winter wheels therefore be compatible? Thanks for your help.

15 inch is a common size but you also need to have the right stud pattern. The thing to do is to looks at the wheels on the cars you are thinking of buying. Also get one of these to measure the size and stud pattern then take it wih you:...

It's not only the tyre size that's relevant, the number and spacing of the wheel bolts and the size of the centre hole also matters. Have a look here:

Dont forget to check for wheelarch clearance especially at the front on full lock both ways.

I've been waiting a couple of years now for two badges, they are allegedly not a priority within AB Towers!
