I have a car manufactured in 1993. The cat is on it's last legs so i was thinking about removing it all together as it's quite a costly part to replace! Could anyone tell me if the car of this age would pass an MOT without the cat? Cheers.

That would be a no then.

If the car is worth spending the money it maybe worth getting a stainless exhaust then at least it would last you for a bit longer than the standard rotters.
