Sorry I've not posted until now, DT, ...I've been in a dark place for a while, but I'm feeling much brighter tonight..well I would be, I've been injected with something radioactive in the Dept of Nuclear Medicine at The Christie :)
Thanks for asking after me...I shall probably be starting Chemo anytime now, but guess who found 2 lovely wigs! I used the NHS voucher for one of them, and bought the other myself, along with 3 scarf/turbans :)
The zap in the nuclear medicine thing will turn you blue and scare your visitors.
After that, your food will taste wrong, some days it's too hard to stare at walls and you can't walk 5 metres, but when it's done, you will get a rush of elation at being alive and you will never forget what triggered that moment.
It's hard, but you'll be fine xx
