No personal experience...but have looked at the latest Which? test results.
Thinkware don't do well....in fact, one model is a "Don't Buy".
The one brand that stands out for Best Buys is Nextbase.
Ihave Front / Rear fitted by a VAT Reg Auto Elect HC, for my own Evidence just in case, I asked my insurance regards these and a discount, thet don't want to know, they won't until an accident arises, there has been a lot of tail endders done around this area by a certain groupe, that's my main reason although I can read most motorists, they will not cost a lot to fit £70, Aldie has one in at £39 from what I understand, i would recommend anyone to get these units fitted it may help you with evidence / claim.

Thanks for the replies. My dashcam has just died so I need a replacement.

I want one with front and rear cameras which limits my choice. The Nextbase Duo (the only dual model they make as far as I know) is on the Which 'don't buy' list.

Which make/model do you have, TWR? I can hardwire it myself although Halfords are currently charging £30 which could be a good deal
These 2 were off ebay, very good in clarity, Night Time Vision without a card, they have come down to £15.00 from £40. they are easily wired in, but I wanted mine done by a VAT Reg Elec so if it comes down to a claim they can not come out ( As they do ) and say it was a DIY Job, there's no wires to be seen & that's the way I wanted it.
To add, that statement regards Aldie, we went today and it's a CCTV For home use at £49, I've already got ours in place.

Can you give a link to your dashcams, please?
I'm not the best with Links but go on ebay & have a look at the OBCams, the 2 I have, inn the front of the body The main Camera, on the left / Right are side views, I will go into my atic & look for the ID On the boxes, If I'm not back in 20mins I have fallen out & I'm suing you. lol

Eeek! Don't go to all that trouble, I'll search eBay.
Hi, it's a H.D DVR

HD Portable DVRwith 2"5/tft LCD Screen.

Supports SD/ MMC Card + USB 32GBS

Should you decide to get one make sure you leave FB until you have checked the Box Contents, although the price is cheap they try it on regards the cables, (I've had one) it's works perfect, no issues regards the Images, IF you do get an issue rather than sending it back Re/ Cost, they will replace.
Yes that the same, I have just seen, from London Free Postage, 3 Year Warrante, £8.99, item number / 131492678728.
