realone player problems

Everytime I try to open realone player or play a song from winmx a box comes up and tells me that this version of the player has expired and that an update is available and to connect to the internet and then click 'update'. Well I click update (already connected) and a box comes up saying that it is contacting realone and checking for software updates. But then it closes and nothing happens. I can't play anything and it doesn't direct me to anywhere where i can update the player. I don't know if anyone can help because i've tried web help but nothing has worked. Thanks ***
