Local Knowledge M1 Northampton

We've discovered that we will be travelling across the country while relatives are travelling up the M1 on the same day. We don't see them often and I'm hoping to suggest a meet. The ideal intersection would be junction 15 on the M1. Any suggestions for somewhere to have coffee or a brunch near there?

We need to make it extremely easy to find, no more than 2/3 miles off the junction really, and with parking of course. At worse we could go on to the services at junction 15a but I was hoping to find something just a little more pleasant for a spring day.

As you come off J15 A45, keep on that Duel Carrageway you will pass the Red Lion Pub on your opposite side, keep going and at the next Junction there is a pub on your left, not sure what's it called, the Red Lion is used for HGV Drivers & salesman.

Sounds promising, thanks TWR, I'll look on google maps for the pub on the left. Looks like a roundabout nearby too to get folk south again on the A45 back to the M1

There's quite a few places not far from jnc 15.

The Queen Elenor is the only one I've been to. It is nice.

If you google Grange Park you should be able to get an idea. The Queen Elenor is just further along. All just minutes from junction 15.

I see there is a Harvester right on junction 15 too if we need to stay close. Thats slightly better than the MacDonalds up at the service station, but i will investegate these pubs you both mention as they might be more relaxing.

The Harvester is right when you come off the junction so really handy.

that pub on your left a couple of miles off J15, that Roundabout is just outside the pub, there's a fuel garage about 2 miles forward than that pub.
