There are raised ridges running across both North and South bound carriageways of the M6. Between Forton services and J 32. Anyone know what's causing them.
Hit one particularly high one almost jarred hands off steering wheel.

No, but I know that he M4 has a section in the right hand lane, going west, where it suddenly dips. Motorway quality isn't what it was when I was younger. No pride any more, that and/or penny pinching.
I'm heading north tonight to the most beautiful beaches in the world so I'll see if I hit them. It's Northumberland by the way.
^^^lucky sam! My favourite area of this country....so unspoilt and quiet.
Keep it quiet Gingejbee.
As there are no coal pit's in that area I would put that down to Road base movement, the A580 has many "Dips" caused by the old mines in and around Newton Le Willows>>>to the outer areas of Manchester on the A580.
