Iwant to buy a great people carrier,enough room for at least 6 with a good size boot .Not too much money.

the new Kia's are good value, not as budget looking as you would expect and they have great deals. The Fords are ok and if u do want to go budget, the Hyundai Matrix is great, with built in screen in the rear seating.

Kia Sedona looks OK and is cheap - cheap build quality too and dont touch the petrol model (very thirsty)- Ford Galaxy /Seat Alhambra (same car different badge - along with VW Sharan) are quite good.

you can never go wrong with the classic renault espace, always been a class leader, in fact i think renault invented the MPV when they built the espace. you can get a used one fairly cheap.

I would suggest best bet would be a second hand Galaxy. Insurance and running costs favour well compared to rivals.

my dad used to drive a renault espace which was great! he now drives a vauxhall zafira and says that it is luxury, economically yet serves its purpose of carrying up to 7 people!
