At several points on my journey to and from work I have to pull out of a junction while turning and going up hill. This causes my wheels to bounce and have problems controlling the car. It only appears to happen when the road is wet. Any thoughts?

Could it be your clutch control causing short spells of wheel spin ? Also, perhaps your front tyres are over inflated or in poor condition. Suggestions only, mate.

Could be a number of things dear Dean.

It sounds like a safety issue so check it out ASAP. If in transmission it may be the clutch.

The bearings

The axle

The suspension (dampers or struts)

Tyres

Driveshaft

Engine mounts

Severe wheel misalignment

Seriously, could be hundreds of things.

Turning, up hill? Less grip due to weight transfer to rear of car, less grip due to damp road surface. Try pulling away in 2nd gear, without too much welly, and I'm sure the problem will go. Also if on lock (turning) you will be getting torque steer.
