Alternative For Checking The Route????

Never used it before, and of all the days its not working - you guessed it, it's today. I need to work out if it is remotely possible to drive to Leeds Rd, Birstall, West Yorkshire (WF17 0HH) from Derby (DE22 1EX) and back again. I can kind of go anythime today (daytime) what do you think folks? It's thick dry snow outside NOW (7:50).

The AA route planner is showing the current journey time extended from 1h 20m to 1h 38m, probably mainly due to queueing traffic behind an accident between junctions 29 and 28 of the M1, which has closed one lane. Other than that, traffic seems to be flowing freely:

So if you set out soon you should have no problems on your outbound journey. However there's a yellow weather warning in place for much of the route, suggesting the possibility of fairly heavy snow later on:
