I have a year old Audi. Is it difficult / expensive to wire in a dash cam that will switch on and off when the ignition is off? I am conserned that the interior will not be damaged.

You'll need something like this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nextbase-Hard-Wire-Kit-Car-Dash-Cam-Camera-112-212-312-402G-412-512-512GW-DUO/291517377396?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

If you want it to switch on and off with the ignition, make sure when you connect it to your fuse box, to connect it to one of the fuses that is switched on and off with the ignition.
It shouldn't be a big job if you want to do it yourself.

I wouldn’t do it myself, it would not be neat enough! I was just hoping for a rough Idea of time and cost. I would either take it to an Audi garage or body shop.
Try Halfords.

Halfords will do it for £30 if you buy it from them
