Rejoice ! Rejoice! (In 50 Years Time)
31 Answers
Jacob Rees-Mogg, a brextremist of the highest rank, says we will reap the rewards of Brexit in 50 years time.
In the meantime of course the contents of the so-called Project Fear become more and more of a reality (Firms going bust, Global Corporations moving out, jobs being lost.......)
Rejoice, rejoice, you blinkered Brexiteers for reducing Great Britain to near 3rd world status, betraying our fine country to satisfy your bigoted xenophobic dogma. I wonder how many of you will still be around in 50 years time.

Unless it doesn't work out, in which case each generation will be worse off than the last.
Of course Rees-Mogg's own investment firm is setting up funds in Ireland. Just in case, I suppose

Firms are always going bust. New more suited ones push them out. Jobs come and go. It's remainer propaganda to be suggesting it's doom and pushing it at forums.
In addition we all know Brexit has nothing to do with xenophobia, bigotry nor dogma. It has everything to do with getting out from the EU yoke. Such accusations are totally unworthy and those who make them owe all decent folk an apology.
Meanwhile it may be than none of us are here in 50 years time, but if so, and genuine Brexit has occured, we'll still shuffle off this mortal coil knowing we achieved the best for all future generations of the UK, despite opposition from those who wished us all to remain obeying the Commission's diktats.

Traditionally people make up an afterlife to provide them comfort in death. I guess the idea that Brexit will somehow work out in a stupidly long time (so long, in fact, that a causal connexion between the two can never be established, conveniently enough) will serve as a suitable replacement for some, eh?
