And of course Rana in Corrie is a Muslim lesbian that drinks alcohol and doesn't wear a hijab, niqab or burqha.

I'm not sure why Muslims are not supposed to drink alcohol but use of drugs (particularly 'weed') is common and seemingly acceptable in the community, certainly among the 14-19 age group with which I work (and parents must know).

Grumpy .. you haven't lived man "Muslim solicitor drinking in Rovers tonight, don't think there's any chance of that happening".
You should have come with me on St Patricks day a few years ago I had a invite to spend St Patricks day in Luton .. the drinking session started at midday and we visited many pubs as the day wore on. I can confirm that many muslims are well practiced in the art of drinking.
In the final pub after midnight I will never forget the scene .. it was like being in a mosque full of drunken muslims all wildly dancing to country music.
It was one of those amazing days that you will remember all your life ... cheers !
