Anyone Know How Long It Takes Connfused.com To Get New Reg Numbers?

In a quote It asks for the reg but mine is not found only transferred it on to the car yesterday, any idea how long it will be before they have the car details? I assume they must have a regular update feed from DVLA, thanks.

It used to take DVLA 3-5 days to update, hopefully it should be speedier now.

Sorry, I can't answer your question directly but you should still be able to get a quote from Confused.com. From their website:

"Q: Why isn't my car registration being recognised?

A: We use a DVLA provider to check car registration details, but if your registration isn’t recognised or your car’s details are returned incorrectly, simply select the option saying you don’t know your car’s registration. This will then allow you to enter the information manually and ensure the right vehicle is listed on your quote."

We couldn't get an MOT done for 5 days last year, after we transferred the reg number. They garage checked everyday for it to appear then called us when it appeared. It was a proper PITA. You'd think in this day and age it'd be instant.
