Paid £159 deposit on a 7 seater Zafira last year. A Nissan 7 seater X trail want £1500. Both on motabilty. Why the big deposit I wonder?

We generally have to pay an advance payment for our cars I think the last one was £700. We take a larger car for the hounds so we dont mind paying the extra.
