If it's a new car I'd try and find another Ford dealer who can do the job. If it's a second-hand car and you're tied to the garage you bought it from ask them if it's safe to drive; if they say not ask for a replacement car until it's repaired.
Not safe to drive anything with a fuel leak. See if you can get a hire car off them, especially that you have a warranty.
A replacement car should be a LOAN car, not a HIRE car.
It is probably the injector seals leaking. Can you smell diesel fumes in the car? It is a common fault on the Fiesta 1.4 diesel (I have one and the seals have been replaced twice). The most recent being this month. The main problem is the smell, but you should be okay for short journeys. If it spewing out diesel, no it's not safe to drive. If diesel gets on the road it turns it into a skid pan.
