It's hard to compete with free

The AA site is also useful and free (even to non members. I find it more useful than Autoroute for my purposes, although it can have silly days, e.g. London to the Isle of Wight via Southampton route was Southampton then to Portsmouth instead of catching the Southampton ferry.
