If youv are a sound DIY mechanic, give it a go as it's not a very difficult clutch to change. However the gear linkages can be an arse to sort out if you don't follow alignment procedures correctly and get them out of line.
Good advice is not to skimp and only change the friction disk. This is false economy because it won't be too long untill you'll have to drop the box again and either change the thrust bearing or the diapham. As it a big job to do you don't want to do it twice do you!
