Oh some of his predictions have come true .Lets hope this one ends nicely for all of us . Oh
But did he mean 1819-20? 1919-20, or 2019-20? All had epidemics!
Write enough vague garbage and human minds could find matches in any random future.
Anyway, it sounds more a comment on teenagers, to me.
Let's face it, his writings can be interpreted to mean almost anything you want them to mean. I've been searching for the one where he predicts that Burnley FC will win the Premier League before I curl up my toes:-)
When looking to the future I
Know for sure we're gonna die
Seers of yore tell things to come
Mostly talking from their bum
Did he predict the Leicester victory a while back?
Question Author
yes he did predict the mighty Leicester victory in his other quatrain
I think it went

when Dick's bones from carpark move
the blue city team will prove
to succeed at mighty odds
5000 to one the lucky ***

Am I Right ?
I'm Not Wrong !

Ahh, found it;

Just before he ceases to be alive
Good news will come to Ken4155
The mighty Clarets will rule the roost
To give Ken that one last boost.
Question Author
ken I found this

I see no reason
for Burnley this season
to ever again score
even at turf moor

but I don't know what to make of it
I've seen that, too, Johnny. Apparently written by Nosty's 6 year old son. :-))
Very interesting, so what's the red dire when it's at home?
an ze meedl French eez ?
Monsewer Froo-froo sorry Nostradamus did not write in zee English

and I notice (*) the translation is in rhyme so is likely to be a free version of what the magus wrote

(*) no teess ofcourse - er d'accord!

oh God the John Bulls of this site will whine about a french astrologer and complain that you didnt quote a completely substitutable Russell Grant

and someone like cassa will argue for free speech AND you are censored at the same time - that's life ! here on AB

hey I liked nostradamus and his
"an zee whinings on the shore of zee lake....
an oo-la-la terrible war and famine again

interpreted to be Lake - Lake Lucerne, those whining - must be in the League of Nations and the War - is the second world war

yeah a reff for the French would be useful
He couldn't have been talking about the current media driven illness. Maybe there's a real sickness on the way.
oh I say chaps
at least I had the heart to take this seriously
hey love the above
mad meets crazy - M. Froo-froo ( sozza fans, Nostradamus) could NOT have predicted coronavirus as there isnt an epidemic and no one has died and no one predicts a non event

well no - well done

well this one scores zero
"and will spread a plague in the darkness of the night
in a country with seven hills and will transform men into dust" (+)

I prefer:
and the fat blond will bloat
stock exchange destined to float (*)

(*) yeah just made that one up
(+) as a prediction of covid - and now I have to find it in Nostradamus
oh god someone got there before me
"Nonsense .... A search for key words in "Les Prophéties” online including “twin year”, “queen” and “east” brought no results ..... plus ... The text is also not written in Nostradamus’ famous quatrains style, a type of poem that consists of four lines."

some of the ABers efforts I rated as quite good
queen - is used as the translation of 'corona' ( geddit?) and comes from the Latin garland coz that is what they used to wear. Kings and fings yeah.
I did know there were trains in his time
