E03 Code On Hoover Washing Machine
6 Answers
We are getting an E03 code on our hoover washing machine dyn 9144 d3x. This means it stops and displays the code. It only comes up on certain programmes, namely the colour programme, and other ones run fine to the end of the cycle.
Google says it's a draining problem but it runs through the drain and spin programme no problem and it also goes through the diagnostic spin fine.
Does anyone know what could be causing it?

I wrote the question in a rush earlier. I should have mentioned that the first time it happened there was a couple of coins and hair bobble thing in the bottom part that can be screwed off. So I presumed at that point that it would work fine once cleared. But as mentioned it seems to run fine on one programme then have the E03 on another, usually the longer cycles.
I've tried to Google a hard reset for the machine but didn't find anything.

Just to update, I talked with the guy we bought the machine from a few years ago and he said sometimes it can take a while for the machine to settle and clearing the filter.
So we did a few short test runs and they ran through, and eventually the proper cycles also finished correctly.
So clearing the filter was the main issue.
