If you get the ok to drive by DVLA because of health problem do you still need to tell your insurance company?

Please tell your insurance company- the small print will probably tell you to do so, then if anything goes wrong, you are covered. If they consider you are now a greater risk, they may increse your premium, but if no greater risk, they won't

Have you got OK to drive from your GP? I would still tell your insurance company though.

I can't see any reason to tell the insurance company you can drive.
Surely they only need to know if you have been told you can't.
I agree with Hoppy unless you told them you had been forbidden to drive by DVLA, in which case you need to tell them the restriction has been lifted.

Thanks for answers, I rang my insurance company, said as I had the the ok from DVLA and doctor that is fine, but they would put a note on file to cover
